I didn’t miss it.  See attached.

I wouldn’t expect it to be but it’s not listed under any of the other categories.

It’s interesting that you’re seeing it where I expected to see it.

I installed January updates this morning.

WU said it was downloading 2021-01 Cumulative Update KB4598242.

After it was applied I looked at update history and it wasn’t there so I looked at Installed Updates and saw it there but labeled as Security Update.

Cumulative updates for 10, 11 and 12/2020 are all listed in update history.

Is this to be expected for January cumulative updates?

If so what’s the reason for not including all cumulative updates in update history?

      thanks.

    • running Win 10 1909 with July updates.

I first noticed this problem with File Explorer search yesterday.

Today  I determined that File Explorer search doesn’t work if I start with Pictures library and then go to subfolder under Pictures on D drive but if I start at D drive under This PC and then go to same subfolder it works.

I haven’t noticed other side effects. I did not reset my password. No idea what might have caused the problem which isn’t even consistent based on where I start in File Explorer.

From Installed Updates: KB4551762 was installed on 3/19/2020.

Is there a good reason why installed updates aren’t listed in history?

KB4537572 is listed in both places.

I installed Windows 10 on a newly built computer on March 8.

I’m not seeing the March update and I think I should be seeing it with given my settings, e.g. not paused.

KB4537572 was waiting to be installed this morning.

Is it possible that the Windows install on March 8 included what was released on Patch Tuesday, two days later?

      Thanks.

I’m trying to update from 1809 to 1903.  Is it possible to set parameters so that will happen while at the same time avoid tomorrow’s updates?

    • Pro.

      Pause is OFF.

I changed deferral to 240 days per article.

      I’ll turn off metered connection.

      Thanks.

    • I’m running 1803 and followed directions to upgrade to 1809 a few days ago but nothing’s happened.

Do I need to turn off metered connection?

Are there other settings that might be preventing the upgrade?

      Thanks.
