‘you’ do not show me any plus content.

When I go to your site, I am offered the chance to log out, which seems to me that I am logged in which should mean you know who I am and my Plus status, but it doesn’t.

‘My ACCOUNT’ SHOWS i MA PLUS.

I have switched to new computer w W11 instead of W10.  Probably this new computer or OS is why. What do I do now?

OK, if the OS is already using the unused RAM when it can, then suggesting RAM disk for swap/virtual has already been rejected by OS and I might as well not do that.

My desktop gadget shows 14GB ‘Free’ but it does not comprehend that have used 12GB for RAM disk.  Presumably W7 does know that only ~2 GB is really still ‘Free’.  Since I don’t use the RAM disk, I have no way of knowing if there is a clash between them.  That is, no loss of data when using the RAM disk otherwise unexplainable.

THX for teh Swap/Virtual suggestion.  I’ll try it.  Google probably knows how to do it in W7.

Can’t find any THX buton here.

I’ll take your answer as ‘the’ answer.  I just hoped that I was missing something.

My C: is half of a 500GB SSD.  I put all Data on other, spinning HD.  I have another 1TB SSD that I use for video processing – input files stored there; output files stored there.

I made 12 GB RAM disk but I have only used it once.  Don’t remember now why/what for. But I keep it in mind, in case something else comes up.

Decade ago I learned that moving source and output files to/from RAM disk adds as much time to total process, see video processing above, as just using HD instead.  The 2nd SSD was the real lifesaver.

w small C:, I run OS backup once a week and keep the last 6 versions on 2TB USB3 drive.  I’ve had to restore OS 3-4 times in 2019.  Plus 3 times in one day last week [2 weeks ago, 1 week ago, last night’s version].  Really surprised how often it has been necessary.

I replied to PKCano, but I can’t see my reply anywhere.

When I submitted this post, I somehow dismissed it before I checked ‘notify me’ and wondered if it had been posted or lost.  I thot I had 10-15 minutes to edit it, but I could not find any way to bring it back up & gave up.  Been checking the original post daily since then seeing 0 responses.  Today, some ‘new response’ note was there so I clicked and found all of this.
