Thank you to everyone. Have a brainwave logon as admin and removed the file from family and friends. Why did I not think of that before?

But the mystery remains where did it come from?

      Thank you for your help.

The only place I can see dnwfcwyfzmma is on the login page click start >  switch user in the list of A/Cs is dnwfcwyfzmma if I click dnwfcwyfzmma a new version of Win 10 starts to install.
To help to confuse Although I am running Win 10 I have installed Classic Shell that makes Win 10 Look like Win 7 😳 as I don’t like the Win10 Tiles.
As dnwfcwfzmma can only be seen on the logon screen I can’t take a screenshot. However, took a photo with my mobile and is attached. MS Explorer can not thind this executable file mistory

That sounds like a cable or connector problem that can occur over time through opening and closing the lid.

      Can it be fixed?

Have you let the troubleshooter correct what it finds?

Have you turned off any services?

      Joe

Thank you Joe. I have not turned off any services. Troubleshooter found a unknown network problem and advised me to get help.

I have no issues with my Network.

September 27, 2015 at 6:01 am in reply to: Chrome freezing #1529964

I’ve been having a similar problem with Chrome freezing, usually when multiple windows are open. I’m running under Windows 7, so the other replies don’t seem to apply to my case. Any other thoughts?

Just discovered the freezing only happens with multiple Windows open.
However, chrome is back to normal?

September 22, 2015 at 1:12 pm in reply to: ISO burner win 10 #1529373

No, Win10 is not missing an ISO burner. As others said, Rt Clk the ISO file & 2nd item down on the menu Burn disc image. Click on that & will (natively) burn “Burn Inagthe ISO to DVD. No added (3rd Party) burning software is needed to be installed.

Drew The Win 10 I have does not have an ISO Burner Right clk gives many options except “Burn Image” I believe MS removed it 😡
I suspect the free ISO burners mentioned previously may install PUP’s 🙁
      Must be CLEAN burners somewhere.
      Thanks Jimmy

Does Device Manager recognize your CD/DVD drive?

Are you operating from a TRUE admin account?

Sorry for taking so long in replying to you. Yes I’m using a true admin ac.
I started getting problems down loading updates for windows got an error 80070002. when I googled this error code I had to open Administrative Tool s folder and found the folder empty. I think this may be the problem. I searched and and found the services file clicked it and Services opened I deleted the troublesome files and got update working again.
However, I still can not open settings from the charm bar.
I am keeping my fingers crossed when I upgrade to Win 10 setting will be repaired?????
      Thank you for your help

When do you get the message?
Open Task Manager (right click on the taskbar) when the message appears, to see what processes are running?

      cheers, Paul

Thanks paul no processes were running as I did not click it.

Are you getting an explorer.exe not associated message? If so, I hope you have made a good-working image backup, ’cause when that happened to me, I had to haul out my earlier backup & restore. I hope for EZ solution for you 🙂

No I did not get any message

In MBAM/Settings/Detection and Protection you can set it to Ignore detections in the PuP dropdown while you install Chrome and then change it back again to Treat as malware or whatever.

      http://www.google.co.uk/chrome/

Just wondering if google.co.uk will be changed to google.co.scotland if there’s a Yes vote ;):D

I used your link ]http://www.google.co.uk/chrome and still get infections.

Found this in MBAM log, Astromenda and mysearchdial.com are the files that keeps reappearing with Chrome even if I uninstall Chrome with Revo and install using your link.
