AskWoody LoungerJuly 1, 2024 at 1:24 pm in reply to: 9000001 Blocking Copilot in Windows 10 and 11 Home sku #2684714hmmm. Got it … I think. To remove Copilot … not just one reg edit or? It needs to be removed in separate ‘blocks’??
Sorry, last question. Big difference between removing and blocking. Thought I was removing. No? Last question …. I promise. Thank you so much.

AskWoody LoungerJuly 1, 2024 at 12:10 pm in reply to: 9000001 Blocking Copilot in Windows 10 and 11 Home sku #2684671As I mentioned .. the thread is saturated.
I assume you mean:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
Thought I saw something about truncated. If not please give full key. (I am disabled)
Then I assume I follow all the instructions you give for manipulating that key. As far as regedit versions, About Regedit gives the W10 version screen and all 3 machines are the SAME.My GREATEST apologies but I am not sure what this means:
Use the registry link above and then review the list below.

AskWoody LoungerJuly 1, 2024 at 11:09 am in reply to: 9000001 Blocking Copilot in Windows 10 and 11 Home sku #2684635Greetings one and all. Joined this forum just now. Excellent thread but a lot of comments which get pretty confusing. Hoping someone will summerize in a reply.
2 machines W10 Pro v. 22H2 build 19045.4598
1 Machine W10 Home v. 22H2 build 19045.4598 WITH GPEDIT patched in.
(I thought Pro vs Home had different versions). Guess not(??)Hoping to get a summarized proc. to REMOVE Copilot. Any hope of that?? Thanks to anyone for any help.
