It seems to me that TurboTax does something stupid almost every year. I “made my stand” about eight years ago. When I installed TurboTax, I got a lot of unasked for icons on my desktop. These were all links to stuff I wasn’t interested in. I’ve used H&R ever since and never had any problems.

Not an app, but a website. It’s been around for a long time.

I avoid using my phone as a flashlight for one simple reason.  Flashlights are often dropped by accident when used.  I’d rather replace a $10 penlight than a much more expensive phone.

I’m not sure if my dimming problem on the Lenovo Yoga 7i was the same as yours, but it quit for me when I went to settings > display and unchecked “Help improve battery by optimizing the content shown and brightness.” in the drop down menu under Brightness.

I first saw this article in my RSS feed.  I haven’t been inside any of my bank branches for several years and only bank online.

I ignored the article because I only use the Android app authored and updated by my bank.
