AskWoody Loungerat least your only worry are good/bad updates and you dont have to deal with feature updates.

AskWoody LoungerSorry everyone but I think I will skip Windows 1709, I will wait for 1803 to be stable enough and approved by Mr.Woody, after all 1703 will be supported the whole summer, lets hope it is stable enough by september.

AskWoody LoungerMarch 20, 2018 at 1:46 pm in reply to: Puh-leeeeze: Microsoft says it’s listening to us and will reduce version upgrades to 30 minutes #177221To be honest, I wouldnt mind if an update takes 24 hours to complete, as long as my computer works again. So even if an update completes under 30 minutes, it doesnt matter if the computer doesn’t work.

AskWoody LoungerMarch 20, 2018 at 11:56 am in reply to: Puh-leeeeze: Microsoft says it’s listening to us and will reduce version upgrades to 30 minutes #177206When I had a Laptop with Windows 7, I had it in automatic updates to download and install, and I never ran into a problem that I noticed at least. (this was 4 years ago)
Now with Windows 10, its a constant headache to deal with its poorly tested updates..
why can’t they properly test the updates considering they want us to update often?

AskWoody LoungerI use it all the time, However I fear that the upgrade program is planted in the regular monthly updates. that’s why I created this thread.
