Yes, things are moving a bit faster now.

    • The hack is much worse than Microsoft admitted. Contents of messages in Outlook.com, MSN, Hotmail had been accessed too.

“Microsoft said the hackers couldnโ€™t access email content or attachments, and then in another section, that the companyโ€™s โ€œdata indicatesโ€ email contents could not have been viewed.”

“Motherboardโ€™s source, however, said that the technique allowed full access to email content. On Sunday the source provided another screenshot of another page of the panel, with the label โ€œEmail Bodyโ€ and the body of an email redacted by the source. They said the Microsoft support account used belonged to a high privileged user, meaning they likely have more access to material than other employees.”

Why do you need 2 ‘slow’ HDs vs 1 super fast (NVMe) SSD for the OS and 1 HD for data ?
If you insist on 2 HDs you can add an external USB-C/TB3 (up to 10TB) HD.

You can restore the original Documents folder from the Windows.old folder.

    • in reply to: How do I delete c:\windows.old (Windows 10 1809) #368455

You can delete windows.old by running disk cleanup as administrator and selecting ‘previous windows installation(s).

    • For Windows 10 1809 users, the solution is obvious โ€” remove and do not use third party security software and browser security apps and security add-ons. Then watch your system performance magically return to normal or better than before.

And run an unprotected Windows PC as Defender is, always has been and always will be, just c**p.

    • If I owned a Company with the track record that M$ has, I would be out of business in no time. this Company will never get it right, because they simply donโ€™t care..

Yet no one dare to sue Microsoft for $BB in damages and test Microsoft’s EULA in court.

      Windows 10 1809 : KB4493509 (17763.437)

Addresses an issue that occurs when you enable per font end-user-defined characters (EUDC). The system will stop working and a blue screen will appear at startup. This is not a common setting in non-Asian regions.

Addresses an issue that causes the Group Policy editor to stop responding when editing a Group Policy Object (GPO) that contains Group Policy Preferences (GPP) for Internet Explorer 10 Internet settings.

Addresses an issue that may cause authentication issues for Internet Explorer 11 and other applications that use WININET.DLL. This occurs when two or more people use the same user account for multiple, concurrent login sessions on the same Windows Server machine, including Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and Terminal Server logons.

Security updates to Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Server, the Microsoft JET Database Engine, Windows Kernel, Windows Input and Composition, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Virtualization, Windows MSXML, Windows SQL components, and Microsoft Edge.

    • in reply to: Intel-SA-00086 Detection Tool for Windows #349547

Sorry to bust your bubble, but according to the Intel site, the tool was last revised to the version you state above on August 6th of 2018 or on June 8th of 2018 depending on how you choose to read the date mentioned on the Intel page for downloading the tool directly from them:

      https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27150?v=t

The bulletin your link for the Intel site points to hasnโ€™t been revised since February 7th of 2018 per the statements on that very page.

      ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

On the same very page the app has been updates to a new version on April 4, 2019

    • The last few times it has installed on my 1803, it required a restart. Maybe Iโ€™m just special ๐Ÿ™‚

Maybe it did because you haven’t removed the current installed version before installing the new version..
